Parent Volunteer Request

 

 

 

Parent Volunteer Coordinator or PVC

Duties include:

1. Ask parents about Props/Set Pieces/Costume Pieces they can donate to production based on Director’s needs (via email)

2. Keep parents informed with updates and moral support

3. Check-in with and oversee Box Office, Star Wall, and Concession volunteers day of the performance to make sure everything running smoothly.

 

Box Office and Concessions

Duties include:

1. Takes tickets

2. Oversees Concessions Sales

3. Crowd control-be there early and control who has first priority for seating

 

Set Design Volunteer and Assistant

Duties include:

1. Help the directors find/make set pieces

2. Finish any incomplete tasks for the day at home

 

Props Volunteer and Assistant

Duties include:

1. Helps the directors find/make Prop pieces

2. Finish any incomplete tasks for the day at home

 

Costume Volunteer and Assistant

Duties include:

1. Help the directors find/make Costume pieces

2. Finish any incomplete tasks for the day at home

 

Star Wall Volunteer and Assistant

Duties include:

1. Collects cast photos, student bios, and create a display for the bios. This could include fun messages envelopes, etc.

2. Help set up the Star Wall on Friday Evening and take it down Saturday Evening

 

Cast Party Volunteer and Assistant

Duties include:

1. Plan a Cast Party (supplies, food, time/location) for the students. And collect the money

2. Help with clean up at the party

 

Director’s gift

Duties include:

1. Creates and collects money for the directors Gift.

 

 

Promotional Volunteer/Poster Design

1. Assist in any promotional materials creation and distribution

 

Day of the show/Dress Rehearsal Backstage Supervisor

1. Prepare kids for stage entrance

2. Post scene directory on either side of the stage before the show and dress rehearsal.

3. Prepare all the props before the scene and assist kids with props as needed

4. Make sure all the kids are prepared for their scene at least 2 scenes before their scene

5. Assist backstage assistants with dress changes etc.
